Assignments

Every assignment tells you how long it will take you to complete the lesson you are working on.  Pay attention to how much time you need to do each assignment.  Below you will find all of the due dates for your assignments according to the week: 

Week 1: 
Start with the WELCOME SECTION.  Read through the course information.  Click on each tab and read through them thoroughly.  You will find your supply list in this information.  Make sure you have access to go and purchase all of these materials.  You will need them all throughout the course.  If you have any questions after you read through this section please contact me. 

Next you will be heading into MODULE 1.  Read through 1.00 and 1.01 thoroughly.  After you completely read through 1.01 click on Assignments and Assessments. In here you will click on the tab that says 1.01 Course Information.  Once the page goes all white on the right click on the start button at the bottom.  Then continue to take the quiz.

Next you want to click on 1.02 and read through the pacing.  Then go down to Assignments and Assessments and click on 1.02 and answer the question on the page by clicking on the Open link in the lower right hand side.

Moving onto some Actual ART.  Now you will be going into 1.03.  Again read through the page and the vocabulary.  Then go to the Assignments and Assessments and click on 1.03. Using your sketchbook do this assignment and then answer the questions in brainhoney also by clicking on the Open link in the lower right hand side so  that I can read what you think about the comic you have chosen.

If you fly through these sections in week 1 you may proceed to 1.04.  Week 2 will be less reading and more drawing.  So get ready.

Week 2:

Go ahead and move onto section 1.04.  When you click on 1.04 you will see 3 different tabs at the top that you need to go through for the assignment.  It says Explore Imagine Create.  Read through all 3 and complete the sketches in your sketchbook.  Once I see you have completed the assignment you will see your grade appear.   Don't forget to click on Assignments and Assessments for section 1.04.  That is where you will submit your findings and responses.

Next you are going to move onto sections 1.05ab.  1.05a is the actual lesson on Pop art.  After you have completed it, move onto the discussion and don't worry about responding to others at this point.  After you have finished this section don't forget to submit your sketchbook drawings as jpegs.  If you haven't submitted the last 2, please submit those too for me to see.  And lastly this week go ahead and answer the 5 questions from Module 1 in section 1.06.  And CONGRATULATIONS-you have finished the 1st module.  Only 4 more to go.
